Today, it was the second day my boyfriend and I were fasting. I was missing him a lot! When I asked for a kiss on msn, he got mad because it was Ramadhan and said he was very upset with me. I never knew a virtual kiss was a sin. TMDL

Ok this story is completely stupid. For your information having a boyfriend is a sin too. In fact dating is a sin.

Actually Aminain, i hate to actually say it, but is the one momth of the year, in which every muslim has a duty to divert themselves away from any sexual tendencies they may have, and be more focused towards appreciating god and all he has provided for us. This means having an intermission from your average everyday lifestyle, to be more intact with ourselves, and gaining more knowledge about Allah... I think it is rather understandable why your other half may behave in this manner hun..... In other words, the message i am trying to bring across in this comment is; GET A HOLD OVER YOURSELF WOMAN ;) and please dont just take in what i said... Read about it.. Research...i just thought it was my duty to tell you...... For heavens sake please dont engage in sexual activity at this time of the month Hope i havent offended anyone :) x

Its allowed for a married couple to be intimate after Iftar but for a dating couple, its haram in any case. Please don't encourage the poster to engage in this evil activity. I mean it's evil for a dating couple not a married couple.

I agree its allowed for married couples, but what about those stupid people who talk about there personal life over here. Its stupidity and disrepect to your partner in a way.One should appreciate the fact that his/her partner is well behaved and relgious instead of talking carp about there positviness at there back.

ummm desi 123, it isn't strict.....simply, we muslims dedicate ONE month from a year to focus on our religion and our Lord. coz' come on, let's face it- how many of us who say they have a religious belief actually do anything to prove just that?? not many, and even for those who do, they not constant at it. so there it is, ONE month, where we take extra care with our actions; pray 5 times a day, read the Qur'an, control our anger, hunger, lies and gossips - the way i see it, so what if there are many restrictions during this month (or in our religion on a whole)...the things we're restricting ourselves to do, aren't they things that we could do without?? basically, on the month of Ramadan, muslims all over the world focus on bettering themselves and becoming a positive influence for people around them. and with that in mind, i doubt anyone has a problem with it. don't worry, i didn't take your comment to offense, but i sometimes feel, that people misunderstand Islam. :) and as for lalala, your bf probably got mad, because he's probably under the right influence and is learning more about Islam this ramadan...try to follow his example :)
