Lots of desi parents accept that their kids are dating and have even met the bf/gf. Almost all of my desi friends have introduced the bf/gf to "the family", and all of their families are okay with it. Many desi parents are just fine with their kids dating, as long as the kids are honest and open about the relationship. :)

atleast your parents are ok with it...i wish i had that...similarily i also wish i could throw my dadi off a cliff...but she'd probably come back to haunt me lol
