"Tali ek haath se nahi bajati".....we all have tendency to reflect the kind of person we are with. Second thing....if he was the biggest jerk, how did he end up becoming your BF? Either you were unconscious or there was something in him, that caught your eye. One of the most overused sentence we quote is...."The Best is yet to come"...unfortunately so is the case for the opposite....the Worst is yet to come as well. I am not saying that you are wrong....may be he was a jerk....or may be he might have the same opinion about you as well. But the point is you will come across guys like him every now and then. Infact, after reading this he probably is the secong biggest jerk you have ever met. First being (ME). Sorry for what you went through...May you get a wonderful partner in future...Amen

ha i knew i was gonnah get controversy when posting that. Well, I guess it was a presumption but let me put it this way. The only way an indian kid is a jerk is if he tries to be something he's not/his values aren't in the right place. I took that to the next step and reasoned "if his values aren't in the right place then hes probably trying to be something hes not (my example- white wannabe)." Truth to tell, I see many of those way to much anyway..pshh some ABCDs really don't need that D in there.

haha I don't actually think you are racist ;) there is just far too much racism in desi culture already so I wanted to make a point... I have seen far too many desi girls forcing relationships with desi jerks because they want to please their parents or they think other races have worse values, when in reality there are tons of other guys out there, desi or not, that can make you happy.
