Hmmmm I wonder what part of Quran Shariff teaches us this......

C.L., I think it's there but is misunderstood. The Manifestation makes two equally strong statements in one verse, enjoining upon His followers to be as one with the Sabeans, the Jews, the Christians, and 'all those who believe in the Last Day', and then saying, 'with the others, do as you see fit.' Clearly, His teaching was strictly monotheistic, but also superbly ecumenical. I wonder how many devout readers of the Qur'an have noticed this... So the misunderstanding involves certain Moslems' perception of the Hindus' beliefs. The Moslem who does not realise that he and the Hindu worship the same divine reality may be misled by some of the practices that have accreted with the Hindu life-style over the eons. He may find abhorrent the polytheistic appearance of a few of these practices. But I have never, ever met a Hindu who does not believe in the One Creator. This cannot logically be some other entity than the one called Allah by the Arabs. Hindus therefore worship the same God as Moslems. How could it be otherwise? 'The Last Day' means the end of one divine dispensation and the beginning of another. Who believes in the cycles of the soul, of humankind, and of the Manifestation of God more totally than the Hindu? (the Gita: 'yadaa, yadaa... srjamii yuge, yuge' = 'I make Myself manifest from age to age')... And when the desert followers asked the Manifestation which Holy Name they should use in prayer, didn't He answer, 'The best names are all His'? ...So there should be nothing abhorrent to a devout Moslem about fellowship, or even marriage with a Hindu. ...unless there actually is an underlying tribal or racial hatred, shamefully re-named as a religious incompatibility. All these words are wasted in that case, as would be anything else one might try to say.

Thankyou Fettslaab for sharing this. Yes I personally believe in the Last Day myself. And the faith I walk in also says.....There is no union of Light and darkness. Nonetheless sharing of Agape(Divine) love is a true way of representing our beliefs. If the Almighty shares HIS grace of everyone I think we should just treat everyone like HIS creation. Ofcourse does not mean, that I am compromising with other belief. I still think that by welcoming someone with open heart(not following their Faith) is not Forbidden on the contrary is a healthy way of showing Love
