You know, thats really disrespectful...calling someone's parents 'stupid'. If you don't know their circumstances/the experiences behind why they do so, you shouldn't be judging. Sure, it probably sounds like a 'stupid' thing to do to you, but its a way of life for others. An act you deem unworthy does not make the other deserving of being called stupid. Its such a giri hui harkat, to say. And I bet your parents do things that seem inconvenient too-all parents do, for we are all human beings...so please, have some respect for humanity!! Its like calling your own parents stupid....i just don't understand why you would say stuff like that...hate the act? Cool...no one denies your opinion, just state it better please? LIke "thats very inconvinient..." You can even say "thats a stupid thing to do." But "stupid parents?!"

wow for once i actually agree with priyam. usually she is literally the most annoying person ever and misses the point of every story with replies like "you should not keep any secrets at all from your parents" which just ruin the fun of lighthearted anecdotes about the lives of desi kids, but this time she's actually spot on.

@ imma desi:- according to OP's parents if using the outside launderettes is cheaper ( though little inconvinient) then they are SMART and not the contrary.

how can you call someone else's parents stupid because of course it is disrespectful and also there is an obvious reason for using the launderettes (i.e. being cheaper) given in the story so how can you say the parents are stupid?
