Oh get over it! First of all that is how the phrase has gone for decades. Second, even a light person can be dark compared to just the right person. What are you trying to be? Albino? You're Desi! Be proud to have that handsome complexion lighter people give themselves skin cancer trying to achieve! Did you ever think that your natural (and sometimes adaptively superior) skintone actually makes you handsome? Take the compliment, be proud of who you are, and stop being so narrow minded.

I'm happy with the way I m, in fact I'm actually quite fair than you would think, but I guess that's not what were talking about. And to be honest your 100% correct, that we should be proud of who we are. Would you be just as proud to carry dark skin instead of your "quite fair" skin?

If I had very dark skin and I read this then I would be very offended no matter if you were being "humourus" Even though I still don't understand what the funny part of this post is supposed to be.........lol.
