Today, I was watching an episode of Friends with my parents. There was a sex joke and I made the mistake of laughing. My parents yelled at me for understanding the joke and demanded that I tell them how I knew what it meant. I'm 21 and in medical school. TMDL

Today, I was craving some icecream in this heat so I decided too check the freezer. I found about 10 icecream buckets and not one of them had icecream. They were all sabzis and Saag....TMDL.

Today, when out at the mall, my family stopped off at a fast food place to eat. As usual, while we ate, my mum sat there and complained about how she could feed us for a week with the money we'd just spent. TMDL

Today, I was watching Cinderella with my cousins. When Cinderella and the Prince kissed, out of habit, we all looked in different directions. There were no parents around, and we're all teenagers. TMDL.

Today, I asked my mom if I can get a new shirt for school, she says you don't go to school to do a fashion show, you go there to study! That one question ended up giving me an hour long lecture. TMDL.

Today, I went to my lab partner's house to work on a science project. I'm a desi guy and she's a desi girl. Her parents made us work in the kitchen while they stood at the counter and supervised us for the full 3.5 hours I was there. TMDL

Today, it's been several days since I lost my cell phone. Thus, my girls call my house. My mother makes sure she's the first to pick up and insists on talking to each and every one of them and asking every single girl her name and address. Please, just handover the phone like my father does. TMDL
