Today, I realized that desi parents put their daughters through years of school, and then right after their daughters get their degree, they force them to get married and have kids, giving those girls no chance to practice their hard-earned career. TMDL

Today ,my mom yelled at my younger sister because she knew all the words to a song. My mom continued saying, "if you paid this much attention in math you would be doing 11th grade math rather than 10th grade". My sister is 13 and in 8th grade. TMDL

Today, I attended a wedding in downtown Chicago. When it was over, the manager of the hotel told a group of desi uncles they could grab whatever flowers and decorations they liked for free. My uncle tried to unhook the CHANDELIER from the stage. TMDL
